What Is Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) Repair?
A flexible felt or fiberglass tube is saturated with resin, then inserted into the damaged sewer line through a cleanout or small access pit. Once in position, the tube is inflated against the interior wall of the old pipe and cured, using hot water, steam, or UV light, until the resin hardens. What's left is a rigid, jointless pipe within the original pipe, sealing cracks, root intrusion points, and leaking joints along the entire relined section in one continuous pass.
